The Story · In four movements
From unseen and unheard to becoming the light.
For press, podcast hosts, and programme directors who want the short version — here it is, structured the way the memoir tells it. If you want the long version, that's what Becoming Riley is for.
Movement I · The Unraveling
The mask was the survival strategy.
A high-achiever fluent in obedience. Trained as a pilot, built businesses, collected accolades, stayed strong. From the outside, the life looked enviable.
From the inside, it felt like performing a character in someone else's play. The burnout came quietly. The breakdown came louder.
Movement II · The Remembering
The shop of becoming.
Therapy notes. Voice memos. Half-written captions. Private prayers. The fragments that didn't fit anywhere else.
This is the chapter where she stopped shrinking to be safe and started reclaiming permission to take up space. The room hadn't been listening because she'd been whispering. Time to use the voice.
Movement III · The Reclamation
Building Lighthouse.
2019: started teaching what she'd just figured out about identity, voice and visibility. April 2026: Lighthouse Academia LLP became an SSG-Approved Registered Training Provider — the same accreditation typically reserved for institutions ten times the size.
2,400+ adult educators, coaches and operators trained across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. The work became the proof.
Movement IV · The Alignment
To be a lighthouse.
Becoming Riley: The Permission Slip to Discover You — second edition, 161 pages, stocked at Kinokuniya and Popular (SG & MY). The book she wrote first as a message to her past self, then realised was a mirror for anyone else still finding the dark.
These days the work is to keep being the lighthouse — coaching trainers, building the Life Processor™ method, and saying yes to the stages, podcasts and conversations where someone else might need to hear: you don't need permission to shine. You already are the light.
